SPS Clinics are proud to launch our purpose driven Sports Therapy Clinic for the provision of expert Diagnosis, Treatment and Pre/Rehabilitative Care.
The SPS Sports Therapy Department will be led by Mr Cain Wilkinson a BSc First Class Honours Graduate of Sport and Exercise Therapy who has worked with Elite and Amateur athletes.
Cain has a broad range of practical experience, knowledge and skills from working in a range of different sporting environments and clinics.
Cain specialises in accurate injury assessment, clinical diagnosis and fast effective treatments. His aims are to restore patients to their optimum performance and skill via personal exercise and rehabilitation prescription.
He is Football and Rugby Football Union trained and qualified in Immediate Care in Sport (ICIS) for expert provision of Pitch-side care.
Cain is a member of the Society of Sports Therapists, The Sports Therapy Association and is fully insured.
SPS have been concerned with expert medical healthcare for 30 years in the NW. Sports Therapy is an aspect of healthcare that has been one of the mainstays of our business. SPS head hunted Cain into the position of Head Sports Therapist so that we may better focus and provide for our clients that require a dedicated sport specific approach to their care. Not only will Cain be able to offer his expertise in treatment but he is also able to specifically concentrate on the prevention of further injury and to coordinate the rehabilitation of clients to achieve their maximum potential on their return to sports and their daily lives.
